It has been one of those weeks. You know a string of "those" days together.  We all have them, it isn't always easy to maintain a positive attitude when it seems like everything is falling apart. Even when deep down, we know that it isn't.  Here is to the beginning of better days strung together into a good week.  Hope that yours is too!

All things share the same breath - the beast, the tree, the man, the air shares its spirit with all the life it supports. ~ Chief Seattle

"The caterpillar trusts his maker that all is well. He does not cling to his old garment and thus is transformed into a magnificent butterfly. There is no pain, it is a natural transmutation. So it is with us. As the chrysalis is the bridge between caterpillar and butterfly, so is True perception the bridge between separation and Oneness. We are transmuting into a new state of Being. Clinging to our caterpillar stage, our old ways of judgment, we shall never learn to fly into the dawn of a new day." ~ Peter Erbe

I don't know what I was thinking . . . I started another facebook page.  I have now started a grand total of 8 pages.  I actively post and admin for 5 of them.  Wow . . . I had to count that a couple of time to get it right.  This new page is called Positively Inspired Entrepreneurs ~ it is meant to inspire entrepreneurs in the same way I give you all inspiration everyday, but with a more business minded twist.  I guess what sort of got me thinking about this new page is all the business blog posts that I read that don't really fit with this page.  I want to share them with people because they are such great posts.  So i invite you all to come check out my new page; I hope you find something there that you enjoy.

Thank you all for being a part of this.

When one bright intellect meets another right intellect, the light increases and the Way becomes clear. ~ Rumi

We grow great by dreams. All big men are dreamers. They see things in the soft haze of a spring day or in the red fire of a long winter's evening. Quotes

When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the universe. ~ John Muir

Writing and reading decrease our sense of isolation. They deepen and widen and expand our sense of life; they feed the soul. When writers make us shake our heads with the exactness of their prose and their truths, and even make us laugh about ourselves or life, our buoyancy is restored. We are given a shot at dancing with, or at least clapping along with, the absurdity of life, instead of being squashed by it over and over again. It's like singing on a boat during a terrible storm at sea. You can't stop the raging storm, but singing can change the hearts and spirits of the people who are together on that ship. ~ Anne Lamott

We are earth people on a spiritual journey to the stars. Our quest, our earth walk, is to look within, to know who we are, to see that we are connected to all things, that there is no separation, only in the mind. ~ Lakota Seer

The most basic and powerful way to connect to another person is to listen. Just listen. Perhaps the most important thing we ever give each other is our attention…. A loving silence often has far more power to heal and to connect than the most well~intentioned words. ~ Rachel Naomi Remen

Quotes

There are times I forget to be grateful
easier to see things that are wrong
as I dishonor the the gifts I've been given
with worry, angst and woe.

There are times I need reminding
of the things I take for granted each day;
my children, my home or a stranger,
sent to brighten my way.

Take some time to say thank you
for the blessings that color your day;
Those colors will form a rainbow,
and chase the darkness away.

~ Marianne Goldweber

Take time to be quiet- It is the opportunity to seek God. Take time to be aware- It is the opportunity to help others. Take time to love and be loved- It is God's greatest gift. Take time to laugh- It is the music of the soul. Take time to be friendly- It is the road to happiness. Take time to dream- It is what the future is made of. Take time to pray- It is the greatest power on earth. Take time to give- It is too short a day to be selfish. Take time to work- It is the price of success. There is a time for everything.

Your Thinking (Idea) Spot

One can resist the invasion of an army, but one cannot resist the invasion of ideas. ~ Victor Hugo
I don't know about you; but I have a spot where I do a lot of my thinking and a place where ideas just pop into my head.

It is in my shower. Of course it would be a place, where pen and paper are impractical and the laptop would probably be disastrous. In fact, I write whole blog posts in the shower . . . by the time I get to the laptop, though the words seem to fail me.  They just don't seem to go together the same way.

I think the shower is the place for my ideas, because it is safe.  There is no one else there to tell me my ideas are crap . . . or that I'm just spinning your wheels.  Except for myself. There I'm free to Dream Big, have the great ideas and even figure out how to make them work.

Where is your thinking spot? How do you quiet the voices in the "real" world that can prevent you from turning those ideas into reality?

Real meditation is not about mastering a technique; it's about letting go of control. ~ Adyashanti

If you want to reach a state of bliss, then go beyond your ego and the internal dialogue. Make a decision to relinquish the need to control, the need to be approved, and the need to judge. Those are the three things the ego is doing all the time. It's very important to be aware of them every time they come up. ~ Deepak Chopra

Here's to the crazy ones by Jack Kerouac...

Here's to the crazy ones.
The misfits.... The rebels. The troublemakers.

They're not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them,

About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.

They invent. They imagine.
They heal. They explore. They create. They inspire.
They push the human race forward.
Maybe they have to be crazy.

How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art?
Or sit in silence and hear a song that’s never been written?
Or gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels?
While some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
